Q. How many issues do you publish annually?
A. We come out monthly, with 12 issues annually.
Q. Are you a newspaper or a magazine?
A. We have been called both – we are 80 pages with advertising and many stories of Folklore, Fables, & Features of the Great Lakes States. (We never let truth interfere with a good story.) Our paper is considered A Handbook for the Traveler also offering stories about Businesses.
Q. Circulation as of 2007?
A. 15,000 and 20,000 in the summer.
Q. Subscribers only or are the papers placed in local businesses?
A. We have a subscription list of close to 2,000. We have the papers at all 13 Welcome Centers in MI, Free along with many motels. We have approximately 1,500 locations in which the paper is sold.
Q. Do you offer frequency discounts?
A. Yes, we offer discounts for frequency. We send a Rate Sheet out offering monthly, 4 months, 6 months and year round prices. The Rate Sheet includes Black & White Ad prices, Color Ad prices and Ad sizes.
Q. What is your deadline for material?
A. We need all ad material by the 25th of the month for the following months paper.
Q. Do you send out tear sheets or subscriptions to advertisers?
A. Yes, upon request for tear sheets. I will put you on the mailing list also if you would like to receive the paper.
